Day #1: Guwahati to Shillong (100 km/ 3hrs)

On Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Station meet our team and will drive you straight to the hotel at Shillong.
Enjoy the natural beauty of in and around the Guwahati, falling on both sides of the roads. Enjoy the beautiful Umiom Lake aka BaraPani on your way to Shillong.
Guests can spend the evening at leisure and explore the local market.

Day #2: Shillong to Mawlynnong & Back

After breakfast we will start our drive to Mawlynnong, located in the East Khasi Hills, it is referred to as ‘God’s own garden’. It has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia. From here you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Banglades Plains.
Move inside the forest to witness the man-made natural wonder ‘Living Root Bridge’.
Guests can then visits Dawki, a small town in Jaintia Hills & the clear and stunning Umgnot River.
Start your journey back to your hotel at Shillong.

Day #3: Shillong to Cherrapunji and Back (54km / 2hrs)

We will start our early morning journey towards Cherrapunji. It has often been credited as being the wettest place on Earth, but for now nearby Mawsynram currently holds that distinction. Cherrapunji still holds the all-time record for the most rainfall in a calendar month and in a year.
You will enjoy another man-made natural wonder, the Double Decker Root Bridge located in a small Khasi tribe village named Nongriat. The massive thick roots can hold the weight of multiple persons at a time.
We will move towards Mawsmai Cave, these limestone caves are a major crowd pullerthat leaves tourists spellbound.The stalactites and stalagmites caves have innumerable forms, shapes and sizes inside leaving one to imagine as many life forms as possible.
Start your journey back to your hotel at Shillong.

Day #4: Shillong to Guwahati (100 km/ 3hrs)

We will start our journey early in the morning towards Guwahati.
On the way we will first enjoy the view of Shillong Viewpoint at 1962m high. Guests will enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the waterfalls, the lush green Himalayas.
We will move to visit the Japanese styled garden named Lady Hydari Park, a destination for the animal and bird lovers.
Visit the Elephant Fall, once referred to as Three Steps Fall.
Reach Guwahati and stay overnight at the Hotel.

We will provide hotel room accommodation on twin sharing basis with attached bathroom as per the package chosen.

Yes, you may find rain. Mawsynram, located in the Meghalaya State in India, is the wettest place in the world, with an annual rainfall of 11,871 millimeters.
